December favorites :)

The winter season brings so many great things, Such as peppermint flavored everything and the sweet smell of pine trees. If you live or ever been to new York City during the holidays you would know Christmas is a very important holiday here. Lights , glitter , trees and music everywhere you go. December is a very eventful month here in the city. I though I would share some of my monthly favorites (makeup and more).

1) Dose of Color Dare To Dazzle Trio

Everyone knows I love dose of color. Especially there limited edition color black rose. But when I saw the new dare to dazzle trio my heart literally skipped a beat. Three beautiful metallic shades. (With the perfect amount of shine) go get them now you won't regret it.

2) Influenster

I have been loving influenster lately. If you don't know what influenster is you may have been living under a rock. It's a website and app where you write reviews and rate your favorite products. You gain badges when you write reviews and fill out the short questions they ask. Every month there is something called a voxbox. If your answers for the quiz are similar to what's in the box. They send you the free voxbox. It can have snacks, makeup product, hair products and so much more. Did I mention almost all the products are full sizes.

3) Peppermint hot chocolate

First time trying it this year and I can never go back to regular hot chocolate ever again. All I can say is go try it . Right now go, stop reading and grab yourself a cup.

4) Christmas Movies

Everyone knows I love Christmas. My top favorite thing to do during this time of year is to watch all the amazing Christmas movies that are on TV. From the Grinch to the mistle-tones . I love Christmas movies !

Hope everyone enjoys this holiday season with their family and loved ones. Happy holidays everyone

DIY: Crayon Lip

Image result for crayon lip balm
(Photo taken from Goggle Images)

There has been many lip palette that have come out over the summer. I have wanted to buy some here and there but everytime I come around its either sold out  or limited edition which sucks. Since I have had no luck with it I figured I try and make my sister one for her birthday since I wanted to get her one. The trend lately has been crayon lipstick so I figured I will try it myself so if you want to see how to make a lipstick palette out of crayons keep on reading.

Things you will need:
1. small containers or a weekly pill container (which are very inexpensive since they can be purchased in your local $0.99 cent store or your local Dollar Tree)

2. Vaseline (I used one from my local $0.99 cent store and it had coco butter infused in it which is great since this will be without coconut since the birthday girl is allergic. Please keep that in mind when you are gifting this to someone they may or may not be allergic to certain things.)

3. Crayons (Crayola seem to be the most preferred because they are the safe. Crayola does state on their website that the crayons have not been tested for this use and generally any crayon company will say the same thing so you are using this product at your know risk so please do not disgust any of it.

4. The option of how you would like to melt the crayons. I used a stove so I needed a pan with water and not to deal with a mess I used an aluminum  cupcake pan and cut each one so that I would have one cut to put in the pan at a time.

5. A mini Spatula (if you don't have one don't worry you can also use a spoon)

Steps:
1. Pick the color or colors you want to use to create your lip balm tinted, lip stick, and/or lip gloss.

2. Put some water in the pan and leave it to boil.

3. Put the aluminum pan in the water

4. Peel the paper off you crayons and spat them in half. I have found that it works easier when the crayon is in pieces. (Melts faster)

5. Once the crayon is almost fully melted add your Vaseline. This step all depends on the type of lip your going for (lipstick, lip balm tinted and/or lip gloss). I'm looking for a tinted lip balm so with the mini spatula I put 2 scoops and mixed that with a spoon.

6. Put the mixture in your container and let it chill until it becomes a solid once again (This step is up to you since everyone has there own way to let the liquid set once again.

7. Swatch and enjoy.

Hope this easy DIY lip balm, lipstick or lip gloss depending on what you want to make is enjoyable. There is no reason to go spend money that you may not have on a lip palette when you can make your own.  Leave a comment down below on how making your own palette worked out I would love to hear about them. Thanks for reading.

September 26, 2015 DIY Makeup Expo

DIY Makeup Expo
(Photo taken from www.eventbrite.com)

I had went to the DIY Makeup Expo about two weeks ago now. I received a few products that I would like to share. I received some She Moisture products. It wasn't much but I was grateful to receive it since I wasn't planing on receiving any products. The products I received were a lip crayon in the shades Roberta and Sarah. I also received a ultra shine lip gloss in the shade Silvia. Lastly we received a bag with the products inside.

The fist part of the expo there were tables where people could make their own products from a lip scrub, face scrub and makeup remover maybe even a few lip products. In this section people were able to get mini makeovers and also purchase products. The way that it was setup all the tables were together so it became crowed very fast. The venue it self was kind of small for this event since it was held in The Attic which is a roof top in NYC.

The second part of the event was a Q&A . The host of this was famous YouTuber Taren Guy. She also shared her story with us and how she became a youtuber which was very touching.  The Q&A part also gave insight on the financial industry but also how  the work has to be put in to take the benefit out of things in general.

I came across this event just looking for beauty events in my area. If this type of event is something that you may be interested in do some research may be there are events like this in your area. If you have been to any beauty events lately comment down below I would love to hear about them and until next time thanks for reading.

Go To Essentials For A Night On The Town

a night out can turn sour pretty quickly. may be due to weather reason or someone canceling. here are a few rules/steps you can follow to make any night on the town amazing:

1)  Always Have An Umbrella !! (very important)
we are in the transition from summer to fall. so here in New York the weather is unpredictable. one day it may extremely hot , another cold & another it may be pouring rain. i always like to keep a travel sized umbrella in my bag just in case. its small and light so it doesn't weigh my bag down. but if it starts to drizzle i'm ready for it.

2)  Plan
sometimes it is better to plan ahead of time if you want to go to a specific club or restaurant that is known to always be packed. have another option in handy just in case the first one falls through.

3) Don't plan
i know this kind of disregards rule 2 . but sometimes just going with the flow of things makes everything so much better. there's so many things to do in New York. just get lost and you'll find them,

4) Be Safe
this is probably something that comes naturally to everyone. just though it should be mentioned. for our over 21 readers especially ,if your out drinking with friends. don't ever leave your drink unattended !!! number 1 bar or club rule that i always follow.

There aren't really a lot of rules.
just remember to be safe, have fun & enjoy your night on the town!

Whats in my trash this summer

The summer is slowly coming to the end and the fall has begin. It's time for all the vampy looks to come out and my favorite shades or red to be wore on my lips but before I can start there let me get rid of some trash and share with you guys what I have used this summer. So if you want to see my summer trash please keep on reading.

Through this heat I used Suave 24 hour protection deodorant in the scent Sweet Pea & Violet which I love the scent. It also works very well. The only thing is that I don't believe how much invisible this product claims to be but other then that I loved it.

I am also replacing a beauty sponge. I have had it about four (4) months and even though I wash them regularly I like to replace them. I got this one off of amazon which I tend to buy most of them because they are great quality like the beauty blender or even better sometimes in my eyes so why spend the money of the beauty blender when I can purchase at least eight (8) or ten (10) for the same price.

I went through two (2) makeup wipes that I got in my local deals store for a $1.00 a piece to clean swatches and my hands after applying makeup. I would not recommend these makeup remover wipes (look above in photo) because they were to rough for my liking to remove makeup on my face. I would prefer the simple or ponds makeup remover wipes to actually remover your makeup since they are more gentle on the skin.

What I have been wearing on my face almost all summer has been a tinted moisturizer or a bb cream. I have not fully finished this Wet n Wild ultimate sheer tinted moisturizer in the shade 182 natural. Since it has SPF in it of 15 it seems that it is going back since it is way darker then it should be and also has a weird smell so it is definitely time to toss it. It was the perfect coverage for the summer because it felt like I had nothing on and it was so easy to apply I could use my hands if I wanted to even though I applied it with a beauty sponge to get that air brush finish.

The concealer I pretty much used all summer was the Maybelline Fit Me in the shade 20 Sand Sable which is my all time favorite drug concealer. I can't get enough of it that I am already using my backup.

Since the summer I am an oily child and yes I know very strange since in the winter I'm as dry as they come but the moral is I went through a whole pack of NYX Green Tea blotting sheets. I loved the smell of them but also they did the job. I'm not the type to get into highend blotting sheets unless I must have them then I can't help myself. The NYX one's are very affordable so if your on the market for blotting sheets you might want to look into those since they come in many scents. The color package ones come with 100 and the normal black and white come with 50. I realized that when I brought the NYX blotting sheets I am currently using. They are in the black and white packaging.

This summer I was definitely on a NYX kick because I also used up my NYX mascara called Pin-Up Tease. The shade is in black but that is the only shade it comes it. I loved the wand on this mascara because it is flexible enough to get in the inner corner lashes so the lashes get an even coat. The wand also had flat sides with no brutalizes which I found different. Another mascara I finished this summer was Cover Girl Flamed Out in the shade Black Blaze.  This wand is in the design of a hour class shape so I had to get use to it but I did like the effect it left on my lashes alone. I looked like I had false lashes on since I like my normal lashes its perfect when I want a dramatic look to go out.

I got rid of two (2) Sephora glosses that seem to just not work since they have glitter in them. The shades are Coral Pink and Multi-Glitter. I wouldn't buy these individually. I have them because they came in a set. They last gloss which I actually did use up is from Avon Glazerwear Shine in the shade Darling Pink Rose Mignon. It was a nice shade of pink that I can top on any lipstick of wear alone by its self.

The three (3) travel perfumes that I finished up were Prada Candy witch was a sweet scent of candy hint from the name. I also used up Burberry Brit which I found the scent type strong so I tended to use it when I went out at night. The last perfume I used up was Marc Jacobs Daisy which is a floral scent.

Leave a comment down below and let me know what products you used up this summer.

News You Need To Know (Makeup & More)

There is big things happening this week! and i though i should just let you all know about the amazing finds i found on the inter web & heard from friends. i'm pretty excited for all these things but i can also say i might be pretty broke by the time September ends lol.

1)Christian Louboutin Make up line !!!

yes this is a major fan girling moment if your a lover of all things Louboutin. first they came out earlier this year with an amazing nail polish line in Sephora now they have came out with a new line of lip colors in Nordstrom. in many different shades and textures such as matte, sheer, velvet, & satin. in addition enhancing lip liners. might i say the packaging is unbelievable. its something i definitely would except from the new line. it is on the pricier side. the lip liner is $40 dollars & the lip colors are $90 dollars. i am thinking about buying it but i want to see the reviews on it first before a purchase.

2) Nars Pro Palette

Not only did it just come out, it is freaking beautiful. you can create your own palette or buy one of the pre designed palettes. the small palette is $14 dollars and the large palette is $18 dollars. the prices i just mentioned are just for the palettes not including the products you would put in it. again this is another brand on the pricier side there products range from $18 dollars and up (way up lol)

3) Color Pop Cosmetics Fall Fine (Super Shock Shadow, Highlighter, & Ultra Matte Lip)

I feel bad saying this but i just learned about this awesome brand a few weeks ago when my sister received her order from them. first impression they have really nice packaging & the new super shock shadow are vibrant. i could not pull my eyes away i immediately went on the website to see what other products they had. plus there made in the USA!! go take a look you wont regret it. there prices range from $5 dollars to $40 dollars.

4) Carli Bybel teamed up with BH cosmetics to make her very own palette

I am beyond excited!! everyone knows i love Carli Bybel makeup & fashion vids. she is very inspiring & real something that is very rare nowadays. there was a rumor earlier last year that she might be coming out with a palette. not only did she confirm it she gave swatches and a look into the palette. i cant wait for it to come out.

that is the news you need to know for this week. if you know of any more exciting news comment them below. if you buy any of the items listed tell us what you think of them. we would love to hear your reviews and thoughts.

How to Pack a Summer Makeup Bag

It maybe the summer time and that means I tend to put on less but does not mean I leave without my makeup bag in tack. So if you want to know how to pack a daily makeup then keep on reading.

(Photo taken from Goggle Images)

My makeup bag I got at TJMAXX in the clearance section but also I been wanting a TL+C Bag for a while and could never get my hands on one since they are hard to come by in the states since the company is in New Zealand. Since I got the bag on clearance I paid $5.50 for it and for the size you can't beat the price. TL+C has various different type of styles when it comes to their bags. This bag comes from the TENDER LOVE + carry collection. I love the colors because they are perfect summer colors but also the fruit design gives it a summer feel.

My makeupbag is a perfect size for me. I only carry what fits in the bag. If it doesn't fit then it stays home and I might not need to carry with it. I tend to just carry my essentials but also what can I use for a simple makeup look since it is the summer time but also my job during the week is in an office environment.

Items I use on the daily:
1. BB/Tinted moisturizer with SPF (SPF is very important in the summer time because you want to protect your skin from the suns rays)

2. A mist of for touch ups throughout the day when I feel I need to refresh myself.

3. I carry around with a pocket size mirror always incase my products do not come with one. The one I prefer to use is the Sephora's pocket size mirror because it has two sides to it. One that zooms which is great to do your brows if they need a touch up or just to draw your brows because if you have hairs that tend to be crazy this is the perfect way you can keep up with them.

4. Brushes are always important because that is how to apply your makeup. The ones that I always carry because it takes up the least amount of space and have everything I would possibly need. I carry the Sephora limited edition travel size wand that has all the eye brushes I would need to make any look. I also carry a travel size powder brush which is very inexpensive because I brought anyone I found at the beauty supply store. In case I lose it I will not be to upset because it doesn't cost that much to replace it.

5. Lippies are a must for me. It is one of my favorite things to do so even if I have no makeup on and maybe just brows I will throw on a splash of color on my lips. I carry at least 5 different products so I can mix and match.

Street Fair Cosmetics Website Order/Review

One of our readers Christy Wolters and many others have asked us about the street fair cosmetics site since the first post we wrote about discovering them at a street fair. so i decide why not try it out myself an give you all a little review on what to expect from the site.

I placed an order for streetfaircosmetics.com on Friday august 1st. i ordered one 20 piece street fair cosmetic gift set and one 40 piece set. the 20 piece set was 8 dollars (40 cents per product!!). The 40 piece set was 15 dollars (37 cents per product!!). it comes with a variety of different products. the only thing i did not like about the site is it didn't give you any details of whats in the gift set. they mostly sell discontinued items some name brand/drug store brands & some I've never heard of before. but like i always say just because you never heard of it does not mean it isn't good. that's the reason i got the gift set.

All together was 23 dollars not including tax and shipping. with tax and shipping it was  $32.65 (tax was $2.66 & shipping was $6.99) i received an email a half an hour later stating my order confirmation. on august 3rd i received a order number and a link to track the package. this was just stating the package was being sent out. the package arrived august 6th it took about 3 business days to receive  the package.

Everything was package securely. i opened the package and saw a wide variety of items. from moisturizers to eye shadow and more. one thing i did not like was the lip and eye pencils some looked as if they were rotten. it took me kind of by surprise but there were some awesome other products in the little bags.

The black and pink makeup bag was the 20 piece gift set. and the purple one was the 40 piece set. i have yet to try most of these products i did check them first just to make sure nothing was broken. from just this purchase i can defiantly say order wisely. i would stay away from the lip and eye pencils the next time i decide to make an order from them. they have so many amazing items on there site that i cant find in store so i will be ordering from them again. just more cautiously and stick more to the brands i know. hopefully this gives you a little bit more in site on the process and some products they carry.

EXCITING NEWS ! ! ! ! ! !
For our readers that have been reading are blog from the beginning we thank you so much & our so glad you come back every time there's a new post. to our new readers welcome & we hope you enjoy our blog. we do have some very exciting news. were starting a you tube channel!!! were trying to fix little details first before our first upload so its taking us a little time but were coming close to the finish line. were all very excited and just cant wait.

Sincerely , Lilly & Krystal :D

PRODUCT REVIEW : STUDIO GEAR COSMETICS

Here at FashionableNY we have been given a great opportunity to review some awesome products from studio gear cosmetics. in addition to reviewing them we also have a great deal for our readers. if you use the code FashionableNY at check out you will receive 10% off your order !!!  i'm so excited for you guys to check out there site they have amazing products. lets get on with the review.

first product we got to review is Studio Gear Prime objective protective perfecting face primer .
it can be found on there website studiogearcosmetics.com for 30 dollars. it is a higher priced face primer but i can say its worth it. its non greasy, very light and moisturizing. i usually have trouble finding a good primer . most of the time they either make my skin very oily or it drys my skin out.
like i said before it is pricey but i would recommend it to everyone.
we also got to try out there studio gear Impactfull Pro T.L.S Mascara. it is 18 dollars on there website. i tryed this mascra for a couple days just to see how it held up in the sweltering heat we've been having here in nyc. it is very light does not weight your lashes down. i have long lashes already this mascara give my lashes a lot more definition and length. it does not flake and that is a must for me. i hate when a mascara flakes and goes everywhere.

i loved each and every product we got to review. i myself will be checking out there website to see what other amazing things i can add to my summer favorites (you should to)

FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT:

This month's fashionista spotlight is on 19 year old college student Desiree. She is the creator of the blog & YouTube channel Evolutionary Desires. With an eccentric style and positive attitude. she is showing the world originality at its best. I interviewed her earlier today with a few simple questions & here are her awesome responses

1) What Inspires You ?

Desiree: I get my inspiration(s) from Korean-pop music videos. Specifically from the girl group - 2NE1. They're style is hella dope. i love their street wear fashion. it's a bit on the tomboy and neon side. its empowering that they can pull off the style so simply especially as women.

2) What fashion trend are you loving at the moment?

Desiree: at the moment i'm in love with the minimalistic concept. blacks and white never really go out of style. i also feel like minimalistic is so versatile. you can switch it up through the day from work/school to a date night.

3) What is your go to summer look?

Desiree: My summer go to look consists of halter crop tops with distressed boyfriend jeans. With either cutout peep-toe booties or my bedazzled Steve Madden sandals.

                            (picture is from her blog)

4) Do you have any advice for someone who is starting a YouTube channel or blog?

Desiree: For those who want to start a fashion blog/ YouTube channel i cant stress enough originality matters. in this day of age the growth of fashion bloggers are growing overnight. The only thing that you can do is stick to who you are as an individual. Viewers connect more when you're passionate about things that interest you. also, be active on your social media accounts. You're marketing yourself which also grants you opportunities that you never knew that could happen.

There is something she said that i think is very important that is being yourself. There are so many people trying to be like other famous bloggers or youtubers these days. my motto is ''Originality is key if you are being yourself then there isn't anything to be nervous or worried about''

go check out her blog & amazing YouTube channel. you can tell she puts her all into every video she does. you wont regret it, i promise you that.

Whats in my Trash

April & May Empties

I have been finishing a lot of products up. The ones that I have had in rotation for a while that I have finally finished.

Lippies:

An EOS Lip Balm in Melon. The lime green packaging. I use this lip balm on  a everyday basis since my lips get very clapped. I already have the pink one in my bag.

I have a Itablia 3D Crystal Lip Gloss in the number 07 which is a sheer red color. It smells like candy as well so it doesn't bother unlike many lipsticks and glosses out there that have a weird funny smell to them.  I would pretty much use it on my lazy days since it gives a little bit of color but isn't to over powering to any look.

I also threw away many other lip products that are seen in the photo above. I forgot to keep them so I don't really remember much about them formula wise but the lush lip tint I remeber went bad and that is why I had to throw it away.

(Sorry that the photo is a little burly)

Cotton Rounds:

Swisspers cotton rounds worked well and got the job done. They were very affordable since I brought them in Walmart. I have moved on to cotton rounds that can be found in Deals or Dollar Tree which I paid a dollar for. I will keep u posted on how well they work.

Face Mask:

I used a Naisture 15 minutes sheet mask this month in Brightening Arbutin. It only cost me a dollar on Shopmissa.com which is a great website to buy affordable beauty products and jewelry.

Wipes:

I finished up four (4) wipes this month. The wipes that I did not like were the makeup remover facial wipes that had vitamin E in them. I brought then for the deals store. They are perfect for removing swatchs but they are horrible at removing makeup from the face because they are rough.

I really liked the Ponds makeup remover wipes in original fresh scent and will repurchase these. They takeoff everything even most of my eye makeup which half the time I need remover to takeoff.

The wipes that I like to carry in my makeup bag are antibacterial wipes since I like to clean my hands before touching any of my products. This month I used the lucky brand which I got in the $0.99 store.
Right now I have that CVS travel size ones which aren't as big but fit perfect in my new makeup bag.

The last wipes I have been using to take off makeup are not even used for it but they work better then all the makeup wipes I have tired. They  are thee Huggies soft skin with Shea Butter, nature's moisturizer bady wipes which take off all my skin feeling nice and soft.

If there are any products you would like me to try please leave a comment down below. Thanks for reading.

Street Fair Cosmetics

Look out for Street Fair Cosmetics Booth's in street festivals !!!!

As the summer starts to begin there is no reason to pay full price for any drugstore makeup when you live in NYC. Discounted makeup can be found in may street fairs and festivals. Around two (2) weekends ago I went to the 9th Avenue Festival around my way. It is a traditional food festival that has many other booths and tables besides food. I came across a tent called Street Fair Cosmetics which I knew I had to buy some goodies and share this with you guys. To see my haul go to my other blog beautythroughmyeyez (http://beautythroughmyeyez.blogspot.com/). I had actually just started running low on my favorite drugstore concealer at the moment which is the Maybelle Fit me concealer in sand. It is known to be the drugstore dupe for a Nars concealer which is over $25 dollars.

I went around looking online to see if the company has a website which they actually do it is streetfaircosmetics.com . On this website the information that is provided is where they will be all this summer it is never the same place and if it is then it is no longer then two (2) days. If you live in NYC you may never know they might be very close and you might want to stop by and check it out but if not let me tell you that you can place orders on this website. I was so happy once I found this out so this means if you don't mind waiting a week or so place an order and pretty much pay half the price for most of your daily essentials for this summer but also they have UK brands like Burjua which is great because your still paying for it half price and also not killing your pocket to get it to the states.

If there any products you would like me to try or any three (3) of us please leave a comment down below and we would love to do so.

Can You Over Contour ???

CONTOURING : ARE YOU AGAINST OR FOR IT ?

Contouring is a makeup technique that has been used for years by many makeup artist or lovers of makeup, like myself. It has been the must have technique this year but there are some people that are totally against it. So I thought this question had to be asked . . . . can you over contour ? By over contouring I mean contour so much there's not a shred of you left. For some people that's the point, contour is a way of changing the way you look. Also it is a way to enhance your natural features. Down below are some pictures step by step of girls using the contouring technique. Let me know what you think in the comments. I am pro contouring to an extent. I myself have done it before. Just to define or make some natural feature that is already there more prominent but enough about me let's move on to the pictures :

(none of the pictures posted are mine all were found on instagram or google)

Time Out Magazine

This is a free magazine that provides a shopping section that I found interesting and I knew I had to share it with our readers. I have been able to pick up two (2) issue's so far so I will be going off the two (2) issues I have read.

I was able to get my two (2) free issues every Wednesday in the corner of 58th and 8 Avenue which is also known as Columbus Circle. There is a person with a Time Out jacket on handing the magazine out or it will be there in a pile. If you are not able to find a location to pick up the magazine then there is a website that you can also check out.

The shopping section offers many things from beauty trends to designer sample sales. It also offers information on where to buy affordable products or where to get affordable services. One of the magazine's I read it offered the top spot in NYC to go get your hair dyed at.

This magazine also offers people information of what to do or where to go because it is hot or in and all the locals will be seen there. People that go on vacation sometimes like to hang around locals and fit in. This magazine is perfect for you because this will be your bible why your in NYC.

Please leave a  comment down below of magazine's that you love to read to get the lastest trends and what's in.

the day after IMATS i heard about this little beauty being released. im still hoping to snatch it up for myself. but have yet to find it in any sephora store in Manhattan (was told they only sell it online). I've seen many amazing reviews for this product. i cant to try it myself (that will be very soon) of course you will be the first to hear about it. (UPDATE: i actually have this palette now. if your ever in Manhattan the sephora in Columbus circle finally has this palette in stock)

2) NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette- $13.00 at imats (original price $25.00)

Image result for nyx highlight and contour pro palette

the nyx stand was the first thing we saw when we walked into imats. i saw the palette multiple times and never even though of picking it up. i really wanted the Anastasia Beverly hills cream contour palette but the line was ridiculous and by the time people got to the front it was already sold out. so online to pay i decided to get add it to my basket of goodies. i am defiantly happy i went back to pick this one up.

HAIR PRODUCTS:

3) Moroccan Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask by one and only -Rickys NYC $11.00

i have been using Moroccan argan oil in my hair for a while but it was just a styling oil. so i though i should get this hydrating mask since my hair has been so dehydrated lately. you leave the mask on for 5 to minutes. then rinse it out and your hair feels amazing. i use this once a month since to much oil is not good for my hair. remember you hair needs all the nutrients it can get. not only by putting healthy products in it but by eating healthy to.

CLOTHING/SNEAKERS:

4) Sketchers Memory Foam Sneakers- $ 65.00-$150.00

i love sketchers memory foam sneakers !!! at my job i stand for a long period of time. some times even 12 to 13 hours straight . so when i got these memory foam sneakers for Christmas i was so happy. they are very comfortable. you feel like your walking on a cloud.
they are pretty expensive but there are a few stores where you can find them for 20% to even 50% off. one store is tjmaxx they carry many different brands of shoes and clothes. mostly designer stuff and big brands everyone knows. shoes and sneakers go quick but they stock up every week.
Another store is Famous Foot Wear. i always try to find the best deal for sneakers because i walk a lot and they tend to not last that long. when i get there i head straight to the back to there clearance aisle. there you will find a whole bunch of shoes and sneakers for amazing prices. but don't forget the other aisles because they have hidden sales there to.

thoose were my favorites for the month of april. lets see what may has in store. will be back soon. enjoy the weather everyone & have fun

IMATS VLOG

Hello everyone, as all you might have read, seen or guessed, my two colleagues and I went to IMATS last weekend. We had our ups and downs while being there, but overall it was pretty awesome and we wanted to share it with all of you!!

While we did have an amazing time, the long lines to even check out were excruciating, and to be honest I do not know how most of the girls that were there managed to be on heels and wait for over 45 minutes in a line. Cuddo's to them, SERIOUSLY, I mean I was wearing my DocMartin inspired boots and my feet were hurting for a bit, but getting back to what happened at IMATS. Here are some pictures of our journey, and letter I will let you know who we meet/saw while we were trying to stock up on makeup goodies.

Please note all pictures were taking with the Iphone6.

Now, while all of this was great, we did have the chance to see some famous YouTuber's there such as; Pactrick, Manny, Camila, and a few others. I could not get a picture of all of them, but since Patrick and Manny were thrown out of IMATS because of the number of fans they have, I managed to take a video and pictures. I will see if I can post it on YouTube and link it here so you all can see how much they appreciate the support.

IMATS NY 2015

We had a great time from shopping to meeting great people. There were many known brands but also brands that were brand new.

These photos below are of some of the Youtuber's we met but also a bunch of people dressed up in full body makeup.

On the left is a beautiful white flowers and veins costume. On the right side is two (2) of the many known Youtuber's Patrickstarr and Manny Mua that we met but unfortunately they got asked to leave because of all the fans that huddled around them due to the amount of people and the fire Marshall. It was understandable since I tired to get a few products in a booth near their table and it was impossible to get through but you know everyone has to start somewhere. They were very grateful for all the love and trust me I am also one of the many that love watching their video's because they are two (2) of the most down to earth people I have ever met.

One of the many new brands I came across was LaGrace. The three (3) women I met at this booth were very nice, two (2) of them were named Auzena and Ariel which are well know in the Youtube world. It is an all natural brand and the people at the booth were really nice but also they knew what the products were about. I tired on the Mascara and best believe I fell in love with it and had to have it so I purchased it and a lip liner that was a everyday nude pick I can put in my bag on the go since it is go creamy it feels like a lipstick. The best part of this lip liner is that on one side is the product and on the other side is a brush.

A bunch of other brands that I brought products from was NYX, LA Girl, Stilazzi, Cili Fashion, City Colors, Elf, Jordana, Dose of Colors, Z Palette, a makeup bag and a no name brand powder foundation. I realized when I got home that the packaging only had the color on it which in a bummer when it runs out because I don't know what the brand is called. All I know is that the table was next to the makeup school table. The color is Beige 2.

If I talked about each product individually this post would be way to long but I will do a review on any products from the brands listed above. Just leave a comment down.

IMATS NEW YORK

4 DAYS AWAY ARE YOU READY?

Were going to IMATS in our hometown this weekend. As many may know IMATS is a big makeup convention where products will be sold besides classes on the many floor and many meet and greets.

Some of the things that can help you prepare are the following:
1. Do some research on the products that have been recently released.
2. Make a list of products you need, want and maybe might purchase. Make sure to put this list on a little not pad or notebook but make sure there is enough space to have celebrity's for autographs.
3. Check the schedules and make a list of the classes or performances you would like to see on the main stage so you can track your time wisely.
4. If you are a beauty blogger or a you tuber make sure that you have enough business cards.

Comment down below if your going to IMATS and what you are interested in seeing.

Winter Essentials

WHAT I CAN'T GO WITHOUT !!

(Photo taken from google images)

During the winter it is hard to put on a full face of makeup at times because I deal with having dry skin  just like most people do or I feel type lazy to just do the whole get up. There is something about winter that just makes me want to go more natural versus me having a frozen face full of makeup and looking a mess because of the snow falling outside.

I tend to go for a natural look and not use a lot of makeup but there are just some things that no matter what I have to have on when I'm going out which are my brows and my lips. I love my lippies and also having my brows done it just helps any situation look better regardless what it is.

The best products I use for my brows are Anastasia dipbrow pomade and Nyx brow pencil. The pomade I don't have to use a lot but it stays in place witch I like I don't have to use a clear gel or anything I can just use it on its own. The Nyx pencil I use when I want a more subtle and natural look the "having makeup on but looking like I have none at all " compared to the pomade because with the pomade you can tell  I have makeup on.

I hope the little winter essentials  I can't go out with can help the next time your feeling lazy or don't really feel like putting anything on but know that in a girls world its just to hard. If there are any products that you think I should try for my lazy days or any day for that matter just leave a comment down below.
