What's in my Makeup Bag : November 2016

Sometimes when getting ready in the morning to go to work and are putting a full face of makeup I normally want to be able to use products for more then just one thing in my makeup routine. The last past month these are the products I have been using on a daily and are currently in my makeup bag.

Primer
Elizabeth Arden Matte Moisture Lotion – This lotion I use as a primer because it is like a gel formula and when using this product I do not really need to use a primer on top of it because this lotion helps smooth the skin. To me this is a 2 in 1 product.

Foundation
Bare Mineral Bareskin in the shade 04 Bare Ivory- This foundation is very light weight but also great for everyday since it has SPF 20. It leaves my skin looking natural and doesn’t make my skin look like I have a pile of makeup on.

Concealer
Mac Select Moisture Cover in the shade NC20-  This is a great light weight concealer that brightens up my under eye but also does not cake up.
ELF Stick Concealer in the shade Ivory- This is a peachy corrector concealer. I use this concealer to cancel out my veins on my eye lids. I can also use this concealer to hide dark circles if I end up having any.

Face Powders
BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder in the shade 230- This product reminds me of Mac Studio Fix Powder. I use this powder all over the face to set my foundation. I also use thispowder to set my eye primer.
Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in the shade 001 Transparent- This powder is great to set all over the face when I do not want to add extra color. I also use this powder to set my undereye area after I have applied concealer. The last way I use this powder is to touch up through out the day after using blotting sheets to control the oily parts on my face but also keep my face from looking super shiny.

 Eye Brows
Wet and Wild coloricon Eye Brow Pencil in the shade 623A Brunettes Do It Better – I use this brow pencil to fill in my brows before I set them with powder.
Ardell Brow Defining Kit- I use this brow kit to set my brows after using the brow pencil. I also use the taupe shade in the kit to contour with. The taupe shade can be compared to the Nyx Taupe blush which is a great gray shade to contour the hallow of the checks with. The last reason I use this kit for is eye shadows. These are great neutral shades to make many eye looks.

High Lighter
Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer in the shade 743A Reserve Your Cabana- This product is marketed as a bronzer but it is really a highlighter. It gives the most natural looking glow. I can also spray my brush if I want the wet looking effect. I also use this shade as an eye shadow and to high light the brow bone. This powder can also be used to set my concealer under the eye due to the fact that the powder is close to my skin tone.
Blush
Wet n Wild Coloricon Blush in the shade 833E Mellow Wine- This is a great fall color for the checks. I also use this shade as a pop of color if I want to add it to any eye look.

Lip Products
The only lip liner I have been caring around is a lip liner from Wet n Wild in a berry shade. The 2 lipsticks I have been using is the NYC Get It All Lip Color in the shade 400 Extraordi Berry and the other lipstick is from Rimmel London in the shade 510 Best of The Best which is a red shade.  The last lip products I have been carrying around in my daily makeup bag are glosses. The first gloss is from ELF in the shade 2121 Strawberry and the next gloss is from Milani called Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in the shade 06 Ravish Raspberry.

Mascara
The mascara I have been using all month is the Tarte Lights, Camera Lashes!

Setting Spray
The setting spray I have been using all month which is a recent purchase is the Wet n Wild setting spray.

Tools
I use a Revlon lash curler. I also carry 3 makeup brushes which are a crease brush, concealer brush and a powder brush. I carry a pencil sharpener which is a must and right not I use a sharpener from Sephora. The last tool I use is blotting sheets and the current blotting sheets I am using are from elf.
These products have been my go to products of the month. Leave a comment down below on the products you have been using all month long.

What's in my Trash: October 2016

This month has went by so fast and here we are with another empties post.  I have so much to share with you guys this month.  I hope everyone enjoyed Halloween and had a safe one. Stay tune to a post with photos and suggestions when it comes to painting your face for Halloween since there has been a lot of discussions about what is safe and what is not safe to put on your face.  Please leave a comment down below letting me know the products you used up this month.

NON-MAKEUP ITEMS
1.      Palmolive Dish Liquid- I use this to wash my dishes but also to help clean my beauty sponge’s with when I have stubborn stains that do not want to get off but also it helps take off foundation that is not oil free .

2.      Angel of Mine Baby Shampoo- I purchased it at the Dollar Tree and really any baby shampoo works to clean my brushes. I have not found a cheaper way to wash my brushes when I am in a pinch because I tend to use solid brush cleansers but I always order them online so I will use baby shampoo in between receiving new ones.

3.      Lavoris Mouthwash in the Flavor Natural Mint- This is a great inexpensive mouthwash and I will repurchase. It can be found in Walgreen but if you want to save a few bucks you can also pick it up at your local Dollar Tree like I do.

4.      Colgate Baking Soda & Peroxide Whitening Toothpaste in Brisk Mint Flavor- I like the taste it left my mouth after I rinsed but I’m not to sure how much whitening it did because I did not notice to much of that happening.  I will repurchase Colgate toothpaste just not to sure on that specific one.

5.      Bath & Body Works Wallflower in the scent Caribbean Escape- The notes on the scent are “A tropical blend of melon and raspberry nectar infused with coconut milk” This scent reminded me of my trip to Florida this past month but also of the summer time .

6.      Modesa Cotton Swabs- They worked and got the job done and were inexpensive.

7.      The Body Shop Satsuma Hand Cleanse Gel- This was a great hand sanitizer. It smelled like oranges and I love oranges . It did not smell like alcohol at all which I appreciate that.

8.      Target candle in the scent Strawberries & Whipped Cream – It was an okay candle. I received it as a gift. I did like the scent but it was a very light scent and did not have much throw to it. There were times were I hardly smelled the candle at all but it was burning.

9.      Bath & Body Works Mini Candle in the scent Georgia Peach- I loved this scent for the summer time. It smells like straight up peaches. This little candle could full up the whole room and then some like the throw on it was great but being so small I was surprised.

1.   Clinique Clarifying Lotion Clarifiante Number 3 for Combination Oily skin- This was a great toner. It did not have such a strong smell and was able to get any makeup left over from my cleansing off but also it did not burn my face.

1.   Lush Bath Bomb in Ickle Baby Bot- This was a very nice and relaxing bath bomb. It gave this spa feel to my bath but also helped when I was feeling sore. When using this bath bomb I feel ready for sleep after. I tend to use a few of these during the fall and winter season. This month I used 2 full bath bombs. I tend to break them up and get at least three uses out of one bath bomb.

1.   ELF Soothing Serum- I did not see much of a difference when using this product on my skin. To me it just turned into a moisturizer in the day time. It reminds me a little bit of my gel formula moisturizer from Clinique. This product is marketed as a soothing serum it did not feel like a serum to me.

1.   L.A. Colors Dramati Lash in Dolly 973- I brought these for my Halloween look that will be going up after this post.  I was not a fan of these at all. I felt like the band was very thin and since I am a beginner it was very hard to work with.

1.   L’Oreal Cushion Foundation in the Shade W3 Nude Beige- I received this sample in my Target beauty box and decided to use it. I really did not find much of a difference between this foundation and the normal True Match which is way cheaper. If I receive this product again in a subscription box I will use it again but I do not see myself picking up this product unless I get it on sale because I refuse to pay full price for the amount of product that comes in the full size.

1.   ELF Brow Pencil in the shade 21721 Taupe- This is one of my favorite brow pencils from the drugstore. It is very affordable and gets the job done. I have one on hand at all times.

1.   Stila Lip Glaze in the shade D2 Pink Orchid- This was a sticky lip gloss but I did not mind it. I loved the shade it left on my lips since it was a light pink with shimmer . It was one of those easy products that even without putting a whole face on I could wear and look some what put together.

1.   Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes – I wasn’t a big fan of these makeup remover wipes. I liked they way they felt on my face but they did not take all my makeup off. I found that I was using these and then I would have to use a makeup remover in liquid form. I’m not sure if my pack was a little bit dried out. I also realized that they work best with the Josie Maran cleansing oil but on their own they were not getting off my makeup.

1.   Nuance Salma Hayek Glow Facial Oil- I received a sample of this oil that I ended up using on my weekend getaway this month. I enjoyed the product and I also realized that my face was not left greasy after using this product since some oils can leave the skin feeling greasy but that was not the case here. It is also a oil that is easy to find since it is sold at CVS.

1.   ELF Foundation Serum in the shade Light/Medium- This was a great light weight foundation for the summer time. I liked the fact that it had spf of 25 but also did not break out my skin. It was very easy to use and I didn’t even have to set it with powder if I didn’t want to.

2.   Maybelline Fit Me ! Concealer in the shade 10 Light- This is one of my holy grail concealers. It is creamy and easy to blend out and this shade is great for brightening up under the eye and highlighting all over the face.

2.   NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil in the shade EP03 Medium Brown- This product ended up drying out on me before I could use it all up. I never found this product easy to work with and the shade I had was more of a red tone brown which did not match me well. I would have to use this product conjunction with a powder to have my brows match my hair color.

2.   Essence Make me brow in the shade 02 browny brows- This product reminds me a lot of benefits give me brow . I feel like this product is the dupe but since I have not used that product since they repackaged and reformulated it. I recent picked up the new formulated one and will give it a go. I will leave you guys posted on if I feel like it is a dupe or not in a dupe post that is coming soon. I have to repurchase this product because it was easy to use and I didn’t even have to shade in my brows if I didn’t want to because it gave use enough coverage on its own .

Leave a comment down below of the products you used up this month and enjoyed. Until next time thanks for reading.

Lush Empties

I have gone through a bunch of my lush products and I figured I would share the products I have used but also give a mini review. This is just like my monthly empties the only difference that they are all Lush products.

Lush is a company that sells handmade cosmetics anything from perfume to lipstick and also body care and skin care products. Everything is all natural. Along with the products being natural and good for your body they have a recycling program that if you return 5 tubes you can get a free face mask as a way of thanking you for recycling which is pretty cool.

The first product actually went bad on me before I could use it all up but I did use most of it up. It is a hair product that is called R&B.  I brought this product when I was dealing with a dry scalp. It is a moisturizer for your scalp and the way to use this is once you wash your hair and its been towel dried you take a little bit of the product and rub it in your scalp but also through your whole hair for that added moisture and then style normally.

The next two products are face mask because I like to routine the type of face mask I use from fresh to clay bubble and etc. so the two face mask I have used us are the Cosmetic Warrior and the Don’t Look at Me.. The Cosmetic Warrior is always a repurchase because I use it to detox my skin every few months. Since I am always trying out new products and etc. sometimes the product can break me out . The Don’t look at me is more of a exfoliate face wash because it has the ground rice that works as a gentle exfoliate and leaves the skin feeling fresh.

The next product I used up was called Ultrabland which is a cream cleanser that removes all your makeup. I feel like it is very comparable to the Jergens All Propose Face Cream which is fraction of the price.  I don’t think I will repurchase this product because it is just to pricey for what it is and the Jergens one comes with more then double the amount of product. If you are looking for an all natural makeup remover then this is a great option.

The last product I used up was a face moisturizer called Celestial.  I purchased this product when I was going through a bad breakout because I have acne prone skin and it worked wonders on my skin. The almond oil that is in this product helped give my skin moisture because a lot of acne products are stripping the moisture from the skin and leaving the skin dry and it can peel or crack which can be painful.

Please leave a comment down below on what products have use or like since I am always looking for new products to try when I go into Lush . Stay tuned for a Lush haul that will be coming soon.

Whats in my Trash

This post is going to be the rest of the empties I have been putting into categories. From now on I am going to try to put up a monthly empties with the products I have used throughout the month. I will go back and forth between this blog and my other blog beautythroughmyeyez. I will be doing monthly favs as well and it will be the same thing. I will talk about more things then just beauty products for example events and places but also the normal candles and etc. that you would find in a monthly favorites now lets get into this trash that I am trying to get rid of since its been here a while.
I am not going to go in any order since I am just picking it up and throwing it in the trash.  The first thing that is at the top of the bin is a pack of makeup remover wipes from the brand Body Prescriptions Cucumber infused makeup cleansing wipes. They were okay nothing crazy . I brought them at TJMaxx for cheap and got the job done.
I used up a sample of Benefit Air Patrol and I really liked the shade of this product as an eye base. It was a yellow tone base and covered the color of my veins.
I finished up a Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. When I can’t get my Boscia limited edition ones that I love which are the pink peppermint ones which I also used up a pack of those I will go for these ones. I am currently working on some Blotting sheets from Elf’s essential line which I never used before. These are very affordable for someone who is on a budget.
The next product I was not a fan of. It took me a lot to finish the product since I did not like it a lot but I do not like to throw out products unless I can’t use it at all no matter how hard I try.  This product is travel sized. I am happy I didn’t purchase a full size because it will still be in my hair products trying to finish.  The dry shampoo I am talking about is Psssst! The original one. This dry shampoo leaves a big white cast and it takes forever to get rid of which I rather just use other dry shampoo’s that don’t do that.
A primer spray that I did not get to finish since the product went bad before I was able to use it up. The product is called Urban Decay b6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray. I really did not see a difference between this and Mac Fix + which I prefer that over this spray but if I have access to this one more or easier before getting the Mac one I have no problem purchasing the travel size b6 spray again.
I used up my new favorite eye brow pencil which is from Elf in the shade Taupe. This product is very affordable since it only cost $2 vs spending over $10 or $20 dollars.
I used up another pack of makeup remover wipes from the brand Purederm Skin Solutions . I found this brand in forever 21 while shopping and since it was very affordable I figured I try them. These were the collagen ones in the blue packaging which felt nice on the skin and took my makeup off.
These next 2 products I am getting rid of because they just went bad. The first one I liked because it was a very simple product I would just put it on and go for a little tint of red and glossy . It is a Victoria’s Secret Glossy Tint Lip Sheen in the shade Knockout Red. If this product would come back I would repurchase it again without a problem.  The next product is a Jordana Matte lipstick in the shade 5th Ave. I did not really like the formula it was very drying and hard to work with. I also was not a big fan of the shade.
I used up another Maybelline Great Lash in the shade Clear which I use to set my brows. It is the most convenient brow gel to get a hold of. I have used it time and time again. I have also used other brow gels. I will repurchase in the future if this is the only one available.
I used up a Bite crayon in the shade Rhubard. It is a great wine shade and also great for the fall. It is very moisturizing and easy to work with on a daily bases.
This is another product that is starting to dry oput and that is the reason why I am tossing it. I have had it a while and realized the best way to apply this product is by using a brush. It is the Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick in the shade 02 pink adore. It was a soft pink shade and very easy shade for a daily use.
I used up 2 sample perfumes which is Versace Bright Crystal which I really like the scent. It is not on the floral scent.  The next sample I used up was Narciso Rodriguez for her which is a strong scent more of a man scent but for a women if it makes sense.
I did not get to use up the next product completely but I did like it and would repurchase since it has been the first lip exfoliator that is very easy to use. It is the Elf Lip Exfoliator in clear. I might try to use a different scent or shade since now it also comes in cherry and peppermint.
I used up a mascara from LA Colors it is called Bold Lash Mascara in the shade 307 which is just black. Using this product my lashes had a lot of volume but also I didn’t have to use a eye curler to help with the volume which I did like.
I used up the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in the shade Plummy Rose which is a great everyday nude pink shade.  I do not know if I will repurchase this lipstick though because of the formula. It melted very fast and at the end it broke off and had to depot to use it up.
The next product dried up on me. It is the Color Tattoo Metal in the shade 70 Barely Branded. I used this as an eye base and loved it . I would repurchase it once I get through some of my other eye bases.
I used up 2 brush cleansers .  The first one is the Mac Brush Cleaner and the next one is the Sephora Makeup Brush Shampoo. I use both at the same time because I use the Mac Cleaner to disinfect my brushes and then the shampoo to clean my brushes. I am currently using baby shampoo and NYX brush cleaner. I will repurchase either of these products expect the Sephora brush shampoo since the baby shampoo works better in my opinion and is more affordable. The Mac brush cleaner I will put to my back to mac products.
I used up my NYX HD concealer in the shade CW04 Beige. Once I use up a few of my other concealers I will definitely repurchase it because this is a great product for the price. I can compare this concealer to a bunch of other high end concealers.
I used up the Korres Antiaging Primer from the Quercetin & Oak line which was great. It was a very light moisturizing primer.
I used up a perfume and a body spray.  The perfume I used up was the Jennifier Aniston Eau De Parfume. I purchased this at Sephora. It was a very light perfume that I used everyday to go to work. It wasn’t to strong but it wasn’t to soft that the scent didn’t last at all. The body spray I used up was a Pink in your dream body mist which was a great scent . It was a fresh scent.
These are all the products that I have used in the past few months. From now on I will be doing monthly empties .  Leave a comment down below with your current favorite empties you used up and why do you like them or love them some much.

Mascara Empties

So over the past few months I have gone through a few tubes of mascara. This empty is my view on these mascaras. So if you want to see what mascara I finished these past few months then keep on reading. Please keep in mind that even if I get a product for review I will give you my honest opinion and will disclose that information to you if I did not purchase the product with my own money.
The first tube is the Grow Luscious from Revlon in the shade 003 Blackened Brown. This mascara claims to give 96% instantly longer looking lashes. When using this mascara I noticed it made my eye lashes look like I had put on lashes. It also gave volume which was not one of the claims. The packaging also had claims of making your lashes stronger over time as if there was a serum but I wasn’t able to tell so I really can not say that claim is true since it didn’t work for me but that does not mean it will not work for you.  Over all for a drugstore mascara I was very impressed. The only thing is that if you do not like big and fat wands this mascara is not for you just keep that in mind if you decide to purchase this product.

The second tube I received a while back for a review. If you want to see the review then go to my other blog beautythroughmyeyez@blogspot.com . The brand is called Studio Gear and the name of the mascara is Impact Full . The wand on this mascara is slim. This mascara makes my eye lashes look like I am wearing fake eye lashes. It can make any eye look get its pop and be noticed. The only down fall is that I have to order this mascara online if I want it since this brand can not be found in a local store but only online.

The third tube is from the brand 100% Pure. The tube does not have a name to it but the shade is black. I did not like this mascara at all. I found it to flake but also it was as if I put nothing on my lashes. I would not recommend nor would I buy this product since I received a sample with purchase and that is how I received this sample/travel size tube.

The fourth and fifth tube are by NYC . the first tube is called Big Bold Angel Lashes which I dislike the fact that my tube was defective. I did not receive a wand in my tube. Lucky I have wands in my makeup collection in case I am doing someone else’s makeup but because of this situation I could not deal with the product more than a week because I could not throw it in my bag to travel with and etc. The one week I used this product I realized I could not use it on my bottom lashes because it would flake.  The second tube from NYC is called NYC City Proof 24 HR Mascara Hydrofuge. This mascara never dried which is the reason why I did not like this mascara. The wet formula just didn’t work for me. I gave it a few weeks and came back to it to see if the formula changed a little bit like most of them do when it is such a wet formula but this one has not changed at all. I have used other NYC mascaras in the past and they were great and I loved them. These two unfortunately I did not like at all but I love NYC as a brand and have many of there products in my collection.

The last tube is from Milani. This is the first time I try out a Milani mascara and I am very impressed by the Grandissimo Lashes in the shade 107 Black. The claims on this mascara is to give incredible volume which it does just that. If I didn’t see the brand I would put it up there next to some high end mascaras from like Benefit or Makeup Forever. The wand is big but I don’t mind it because I can still control it.

These are the mascaras I have gone through in the past few months. Please leave a comment down below letting me know what mascaras you have gone through and if you liked them or not. I am always on the hunt for trying new mascaras since I have not found my holy grail mascara yet.

Dollar Tree Finds

On my way to my dental appointment I came across a Dollar Tree. It was the first one I have ever seen in the city so I was so happy and of course had to check it out. I had went in to buy baby shampoo since I use it to clean my makeup brushes. It works very well to deep clean since I use Mac Brush cleaner for spot cleaning which is type pricey.

I came across the Milani Bella eye shadows that in the drugstore can retail from $4.99 to $6.99 depending where you go since prices at the drugstore have gotten high. I have to play with them a little to let you know what I think about them first.

I also came across one of the new Wet and Wild brushes. I'm not sure what the name of the brush line is but its the white ones with the pink tips which I personally think its adorable and sometimes do not even want to use them and leave them for display. The style of the brush is a smokey liner brush.

Check out your local dollar tree because you never know what you might find. You may even end up saving yourself a pretty penny. Please leave a comment down below letting me know what hidden jewels you found at your local Dollar Tree store.

First item I purchased is a online exclusive item so it can not be found at your local store. It is a triple moisture lotion in the scent Forever Sunshine. "Forever Sunshine captures the romance of warm days that linger into cool autumn. Experience this blend of juicy tangerine, pink peonies & sweet praline whenever you crave the essence of summer" as stated on the Bath and Body Works website.

Georgia Peach Mini Candle - Home Fragrance 1037181 - Bath & Body Works

The next item I purchased was a mini candle in the scent  Georgia Peach. This is a candle that burns anywhere from 10-15 hours. The scent is of warm peaches with a hint of vanilla.

Japanese Cherry Blossom Wallflowers 2-Pack Refills - Home Fragrance - Bath & Body Works    Watermelon Lemonade Wallflowers 2-Pack Refills - Home Fragrance 1037181 - Bath & Body Works

The last items I brought were Wallflowers. I have been looking for great air fresheners. I came across the sale and I figured now is the best time to try them so I picked up the double pack since they were 2 for $16 which makes each wall flower $4 each. The scents I picked up were Japanese Cherry Blossom which is by far my favorite scent at Bath and Body Works. The other scent I picked out to try was Watermelon Lemonade which sounds like a nice fruity scent.

The lifestyle change to a healthier and happier you :D

Our bodies go through so many changes and situations through out our lives. Neglecting to take care of your skin and your body as a whole truly does show on the outside. How can I fix or start to change the ways I have been neglecting my body. Here are a couple steps to get you started.

Step 1- Drink a ton of water
I know you probably heard this once or maybe a hundred times from teachers, doctors and even your parents. Don't you think they probably have been telling us this for a reason. Hydration is key. It flushes all the toxins in your body and helps give you clearer skin. This is a stepping stone to moving in the right direction. Then you can move on to step two.

Step 2- Cut all the junk out of your life
Temptation lies everywhere. But you must have the courage to not give in. There are healthy snacks and drinks out there. At the bottom of this post are going to be links to a couple of drinks and foods that will help you start the changes you always wanted.

Step 3- Slip ups
If they happen so what , your human. Get right back up and start where you let off.

Step 4- Nutritionist
If your not sure where to start. Don't be afraid to admit you need a little help. Talk to your doctor about seeing a nutritionist. They are not only for someone who is over or under weight. There here to help anyone and everyone. When I first started this lifestyle change I wasn't sure where to start. I have gained so much more knowledge by meeting a nutritionist.

I know this post is quiet different from what we usually post. But just wanted to try something a little different. Tell me what you all think I would love some feed back. If you have any tips or healthy recipes you would like to share comment them below.

Make up review

I have collected a bunch of new products over the past couple months. So I though why not review a couple products every week & tell you all what I think. Remember it's just my opinion on each product. Some items may not work for me but may work for you. So let's get started !

1) nikka K eye shadows
I've heard of this brand once before but I was kind of skeptical to buy it. the makeup god's heard my call and I actually was given these awesome travel sized palettes for christmas ( thank you Dora).
The colors are very vibrant & all the shades have shimmer or glitter in them. I was expecting a lot of color from the swatches (since they were so vibrant). But it was very light, totally not what o was excepting. After two or three swipes the color really started to come through. I swatched a few so you guys can take a look at them.

This is just my first review and swatch of this product. I am going to try it out a couple times to see how long it last , is it sweat proof and is it easy to come off. I Will be coming back to you all with some more information about this cool product soon.

We want to know is there any products you think we should try out. Let us know in the comments below , we're open to any and all suggestions.

What's in my trash

Happy New Years to everyone and I hope everyone had a great and safe holiday season. As we enter the New Year companies always come out with new products. I’m the type that likes to use the life out of my products the best I can before they expire so I cleaned out my collection with products I used up or that just went bad. Keep on reading if you want to find out what products I used up and the ones that I am just going to toss.

Makeup Remover Wipes

First thing first I have gone through many packs of makeup wipes in the past few months since I like to use them to take off my first layer of makeup on my lazy days otherwise I will use my Sephora makeup towel and a makeup remover of some kind. On a daily it is normally any face cream/cleanser and makeup remover oil.

Pond’s in the Original Fresh scent (Blue Packaging)
These wipes take off all my makeup from my face and also my eyes in a very simple 1,2,3, I don’t have to be rough which is a great thing. It also leaves this cooling feeling on the skin after but also my skin isn’t dry once so ever which is great since I have combo skin this time of year. The scent isn’t over powering of a perfume which I find a lot of wipes having a strong scent and with my sensitive skin doesn’t work out so well.

Nu-Pore Makeup Remover Wipes (Blue and White Packing)
These wipes I found in Bed Bath and Beyond but also Harmons Face and Value Beauty Supply store sells them. These makeup remover wipes are compared to the Pond’s Wipes in the blue packing above and I can actually say they feel and smell and work just as well as the Pond’s ones. I also like the fact that they are way cheaper. For the price of Pond’s wipes I can get around 3 or 4 packs of Nu-Pore wipes since they retail for about $1.95 in Bed Bath and Beyond.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (Light Green Packing)
These are the first time I try these and I fell in love with them. They are so gentle and refreshing which I find great. There also really isn’t a scent to them which I love. These also do not make my skin oily or dry which is great.
Blotting Sheets

So far for the past few months I have been using one type of blotting sheets; so in my trash I have 2 packs of the NYX Matta Blotting Paper in the black packing. These blotting sheets work great and they are very cheap since I tend to buy Boscia ones which can be type pricey when I go through a pack type fast but also the scent that I like only comes out during the holidays. It is the peppermint ones which of course I had to buy a couple until they come back out next year during the holiday season.

Eyebrows

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara (In the shade Brunette TBM03)
This is a great product to seal my brows once I have filled them in. It doesn’t matter if I use a powder or a pencil it doesn’t makeup them crunchy. I really do not like my eyebrows to be crunchy what so ever. The color is also just right because I find that brow gels/tinted mascaras can be on the orange side which my hair color doesn’t work at all.

ELF Eyebrow Kit (In the shade Medium)
I seemed to like this product for an all-natural brow look. The powder was a taupe shade and the gel was tinted dark brown and again it had no tint of orange but more of a taupe undertone so it went great with the powder.

Perfume

I tend to always carry a travel size or sample of a perfume since they are the perfect size to fit in a makeup bag whenever I need to freshen up.

Versace Bright Crystal
This scent is a Olfactive family which is a mix of flower, fruity and musk. The scents that are included in this perfume are Yuzu, Iced Accord, Pomegranate, Peony, Magnolia, Acajou, Lotus Flower, Musk and Vegetal Amber.

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gioia (Name means Water of Joy)
The scent is a mixture of cool mint, warm brown sugar and the zest of Italian lemon as it is described on Sephora’s website.

Elizabeth and James Nirvanna White
The scent is a mixture of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication as described on Sephora’s website.

Primers

Cover Fx Primer (The primer with the orange band around the tube)
I really was not a fan of this primer at all. My sister gave it to me since she could not use it but to me the smell was way to strong of sun block but also I didn’t see it do much to my makeup . I did use most of it since it is a high end product and I wanted to get her money spent in Sephora worth it since we could not find the receipt to return it. There is probably 1/3 of the product left but it is starting to smell funky so I’m going to toss it.

Too Faced Lip Insurance
I loved using this lip primer before I wore liquid lipstick. I found that this primer helps for my lips not to be so dry since liquid lipstick can be very drying.

Evian Facial Spray
I use this spray to moisturize my face right before I put my primer on since I find that lotion feels to heavy on my face and I am the type of person that I want my makeup to feel light on the skin because I find the more you have on it can transfer, look cakey, and also clog pores.

BB Creams

Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm (The pink packaging)
I liked this BB Cream in the summer months because it wasn’t too heavy on the skin. It also gave great protection from the sun. I’m not too sure if it worked for the so called claims it says to have. It states to help with whitening the skin and help with wrinkles. I don’t really have issues with aged skin. If people have tired other types of BB Creams from skin79 please leave a comment down below.

Mascara

Korres Athens Mascara (In the shade Obsidian Black)
I found the mascara to lengthen my lashes. When I wore it sometimes I would be asked if I was wearing lashes which when I want to do a glam look I liked since I’m not the false lashes type of girl. I prefer to buy a mascara that can give me that look since I already have long looking lashes.

Concealer

Sephora Collection Smoothing & Brightening Concealer (In the shade 07 Moyen Medium)
This product worked wonders for me. I could compare it to make other high end cancelers that I have in my collection. To me Sephora makes some of the best concealers out there. This left my under eye bright but also it is great for highlighting. It also does not crease on me with the new tend of baking which I love since most tend to crease throughout the day. Sephora has come out with a gel concealer which I will pick up to see if it can be compared to this one if its better or not so stay tune but also Sephora has great products even if your someone who is wants to spend money on high end products but can’t really take the hit of spending $32 and etc on a concealer or any product for that matter you should check them out. Please leave a comment down below on the Sephora brand products that you have tired and have loved.

Blush

ELF HD Blush(In the shade Superstar #83232)
This is a great product but unfortunately since it is a cream product I didn’t get to use up this whole product before it dried out on me since all you need is very little of the product. It is a great baby pink shade and very pigmented. It is also at a great price so if you are someone looking for great drugstore cream blush I would recommend Elf HD Blushes.

Lip Products

Revlon Just Bitten (In the shade Flame/Flamme)
I have used up this product on one side pretty much. I wasn’t really a fan of the balm side since I didn’t really see it making a difference when I put the stain on. The lipstain is in an ink form since it is one of the forms of lipstains that was brought to the drugstore a while back. I have had this product for a while now and the stain part is just not as pigmented as it was when I first brought it so it’s pretty much done. Now the stain is a very light orange. When I first got the product it was a stain in the shade of red orange and now as the time has gone by it has turned into a straight orange shade.

L’oreal Endless Kissable Shine Wear Gloss Topcoat
There really much to this product since it was a great drugstore topcoat gloss in clear for any lipstick or to wear alone to get my lips shiney. I do not wear gloss like that so the product is just going to be tossed since it is starting to get a weird smell.

EOS Lip Balm (The scent is Sorbet if I’m not mistaken. It is in the light pink packaging)
I was not a big fan of the scent it was very overpowering so the product expired before I even finished using it. I’m still trying to find a fav scent in the ESO lipblams so far I have lighted the mint scent witch is in the light blue packaging. If you have any fav ESO lipblams leave them in the comments down below since it’s a great lipbalm to just toss in your purse and go.

Other Beauty Products

L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polish (In the color Purple. I have had this polish so long the nail rubbed off.)
It is a great affordable nail polish. It didn’t chip fast or anything and looked very pretty. It was a nice shade of purple not to light and not to dark but somewhere in the middle.

Lotion
I tend to always have a lotion on or in my desk at which job I am at. So I had ran out of lotion and decided to pick one up at the local $0.99 store since that was the closest store near me. I picked up this lotion by the company XtraCare. It was a cooling action oatmeal skin relief calming lotion since I type a lot I like something cooling but also not greasy feeling. For the price I paid for this lotion I was very surprised since it didn’t feel greasy or anything. It felt and compared to Aveeno lotion so if you’re in a pinch and see this lotion in your local $0.99 or beauty supply store I recommend you pick it up.

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleaner
I love this cleaner to mix with others because it really does get the job done and deep cleans. I tend to mix it since it is strong it feels like its burning on the skin when I use it alone. I know that since I have been using it I have seen less break outs since I have sensitive acne prone skin.

Skintimate Moisturizing/Hydratant Shave Gel (In the scent Rasberry Rain)
It works good I don’t have a problem with it and since I have sensitive skin I have to watch what I use. I have never had any problems when I use any skintimate shaving cream. Currently I am using one the from the same brand just I different line and I prefer that one better than this one so I might not repurchase it.

I know this is a long what’s in my trash post and if you made it all the way to the end thanks for reading but also leave a comment down below we love to know what products you recently finished up and how you liked them. Thanks for reading.
